Atlanta Braves Game!

Howdy dudes,
Last week i got to experience my first ever baseball game, at Turner Field, Atlanta. I have watched games on TV heaps of times, but it never really captures the atmosphere of really being there. I guess the best thing about the game was that we got to watch it from a sky box!

Check it out, here is our crew of Keally, me, Kim, and Tom, the man who organised it, with a nice backdrop to the photo!

The field looks awesome, and is just so neatly groomed. Every seat in the stadium gets a great view of the action, so i thought i should include a picture of what our’s looked like.

In a box, you get waited on hand and foot, and there was unlimited food and drink. The funniest thing was how small the hamburgers were! You could eat twenty of these and not be full! I don’t know if the photo really shows how small they are!

Here is a view from inside the air conditioned box, looking out to the field, with Kim and Keally getting in the way of my view!

We had a great time at the game, and it was a great way to experience my first baseball game. I guess i wont really want to go again, unless i get to sit in the box to watch! A huge thanks to Tom for making it possible too!

The game was really good preparation for the Tour de Toona, which we are about to start in four hours, so keep an eye out on cyclingnews for results! Form is good, and i am itching to race again, so it is going to be exciting!

Here is an interesting fact too: Buzz Aldrin’s mother’s maiden name was ‘Moon’!
