Camping Trip
A Day Down Under October 14th, 2007OK, this post is from ages ago now, i have been down in the Caribbean, racing, and the internet was very hard to come by. The post was half way done before i left, and i was unable to complete it while down there… Anyway, here are a few pictures from the camping weekend:
Last week (well, weeks ago now) Keally and i went camping with our friends Tyler and Brooke, at Tyler’s Dad’s property, in the middle of nowhere, GA… It wasn’t really camping, but it was good to get away and have some fun!
The place is pretty kick arse, with a house full of bunk beds for the campers and hunters, and an outdoor kitchen, as well as some cool toys like four wheel motorbikes, off-road golf buggies, and stuff like that.
Here is the house, kitchen, and four-wheeler, and golf buggy. This is pretty much right in the middle of the 700 acres they have. Pretty bad-ass for a weekend get-away place!
Here’s the golf buggy, ready for off-road! Wicked!

The camping kitchen they have was great. Out in the elements, but still under cover, and fully decked out with everything; open fire, TV, air-conditioner, oven, microwave, radio, fridge. Brilliant!

We had beer-can chicken for lunch. I have no idea how to do it, but this is what the chickens look like on the BBQ when they have the beer cans stuck up their arses! It was so good too, so tasty!

We got to do a bit of shooting as well, at clay targets, and at still targets. Here is Tyler looking the goods as he is sighting his rifle.

One last thing for this post, check out this photo!

I have seen it all now! Girl’s Rugby Union! UGA has a female Union team, who play weekly just across the road from where we live. When i saw it while out training, i had to race home and grab my camera!
Laters dudes…

Tommy your camp trip in Georgia sounds and looks like a place that Big Pond Bill would be a “Happy Camper”!
