Update is on the Way…

// July 6th, 2008 // A Day Down Under

I have an update on the way, its just that i forgot my cable to load photos from my camera across to my computer, so i can’t put any pictures up this post… You know what i am like with making sure i have photos up in each post!

Thanks to everyone who commented last post, i appreciate it. 13 is impressive! I am pretty happy about that, having 13 readers is about ten more than i thought i had!

Just a quick question for Uncle John, what’s wrong with black socks?

    Just thought id let you know that you are famous over here in Belgium. I picked up a local Bike magazine and there was a big pic of you in your new kit looking all mean and shit promoting sunglasses.. Not bad
    Hope all is good.

    I know the answer too. Black socks say “FRED” (notice the all caps) in a loud clear way. As pointed out above, black should only be worn with dress attire or on a day when it will rain on your ride.
    Keep up the posting!

    it was good seeing your in Fitchburg… Even if it was for all of 12 minutes. You make it home?

    When I was a youngster if you turned up to race in black socks you were told to swap them for white ones or race without socks – otherwise you could go home. Good thing too!

    I say hey, Tommy!

    I am in Seattle, watching Tour de France and simultaneously switching channels to British Open, and reading on internet about Speed Week Bike Races in Milwaukee. See you came in 4th the other day…Congratulations! Keep up the positive results!

    Road my Trek along Lake Washington, just 2 miles from where I live…beautiful 75 F degrees, and view of snow covered Mt. Ranier 4,000 meters high, 30 miles distance!
    Riding today along Lake Sammanish, nearby!
    Bike shops everywhere, all roads have a 6′ bike lane on each side of the street. Microsoft world headquarters just 2 miles away from Jeans sisters home, and hundreds of employees ride to work.

    Town of Redmond,Washington, 2 miles from here considers itself the “bike Capital of the US”. 10,000 people are members of the Cascade Bike Club, here in Seattle. Cascade Mountains due East of here, just 10 miles away.
